Detailed Washing Care:

• Wash in Cold Water:Cold water is gentler on both cotton and polyester fibers, reducing the risk of shrinking and fading.
• Use a Gentle Detergent:Choose a mild, pH-neutral detergent to avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the fabric.
• Wash Inside Out:Turning clothes inside out can help protect the surface of the fabric and reduce fading.
• Choose the Right Cycle:A delicate or normal cycle on your washing machine is appropriate for this type of fabric.
• Avoid Hot Water:While some may suggest hot water for heavily soiled items, it can increase the risk of shrinkage and color fading, especially with cotton.
• Drying Options:Air Drying: Air drying is the best way to avoid shrinkage and damage to the fabric. Dryer: If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting and avoid over-drying.
• Pre-Treat Stains:Consider pre-treating stains before washing to help them come out more easily.

Why these instructions matter:

• Cotton:Cotton is prone to shrinkage, especially when exposed to hot water and high heat from dryers.
• Polyester:While polyester is more resistant to shrinkage and wrinkles than cotton, it can be damaged by excessive heat.
• Blending:The blend of cotton and polyester can make garments more durable, but it also means that special care is needed to maintain their quality and shape.
